I completed my General Medicine from Russian State Medical University(RSMU) Moscow. Currently I'm doing my Clinical Residency in the Department of Dermatology and Venerology in Russian Peoples Friendship University(PFU), Moscow.

Russian State Medical University (formerly the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute) is one of the oldest Russian medical schools, the most prominent and respectful in the country and abroad. At present University is a very prestigious establishment, which provides the best medical education. RSMU was established in 1906 when classes at the newly founded the Medical Faculty of the Moscow High Women's Courses were started. In 1918 a decree issued by the Soviet Government transforming it into the 2nd Moscow State University. In 1930 the 2nd Moscow State Medical School (Institute) was taken out of that University and established as an independent institution. On the 5th of November 1991, an edict was issued by the Government of the Russian Federation to reorganize the 2nd Moscow State Medical University. The Medical Faculty was founded in 1906. It is the ancestor of the University. Professor Ivan F. Ognev (1855-1928), an outstanding Russian morphologist, was its first Dean. During its 94-years history the Medical Faculty has made many changes as far as the contents of curriculum and teaching trends are concerned, but always highly qualified training of doctors in the main academic disciplines of medicine has been maintained. The Pediatric Faculty of the University was founded in 1930. It was the first pediatric faculty in the world. The Bio-Medical Faculty was founded in 1963. It was the year of rapid development in the field of molecular biology. It also was started because of man's entrance into space. The Postgraduate Training Faculty was founded in 1971 to train graduates of the University in various special branches of medicine. From 1988 the University began offering courses for those desirous of defending their Doctoral degree. Specialization is offered through 70 chairs of the University with clinical courses covering 23 clinical professions. Since its foundation RSMU has been a leader in developing medical science and medical education. Today, at the beginning of the third millennium, the University is a large medical scientific, research and educational center, noted for its extensive clinical and laboratory base and a brilliant teaching staff. This staff has unique pedagogical experience in training students and postgraduates from all over the world and is always happy to pass on their knowledge and experience Annually about 7000 students from Russia and foreign countries study at the University. There are three major faculties at RSMU: Medical faculty Pediatric faculty Bio-medical faculty After graduation from the University over 1000 students are annually trained in the internship, clinical studies and take the postgraduate course in a total of 51 branches of medicine, including 37 medical, 7 biological, 5 chemical and 2 - in the fields of physics, mathematics, automation and computer systems. The University students, postgraduates and interns, working for their academic degrees, are trained and get specialization, improve their knowledge and skills, carry out their theses at 108 chairs, 58 scientific-research laboratories of RSMU. The University has perfect large library with more than 700 thousands volumes in Russian and foreign languages. Among the staff of the University there are over 30 academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RAS, RAMS and RANS - respectively), 24 State Prize-Winners, 8 celebrated scientists of Russia and over 700 candidates of sciences. Such prominent scientists of Russia as academicians of RAMS professors Saveljev V.S., Lopatkin N.A., Nesterov A.P., Lisitsin U.P., Gusev E.l., academician of RAMS, professor Tatarinov U.S., corresponding member of RAMS, professor Pantsyrev U.M., are working at the Medical Faculty of RSMU.
Today Russian State Medical University is a complex of buildings designed for practical classes, lectures, laboratory studies, library, research work and auxiliary services, covering a total area of 1,119 thousand square meters and including a students' township "Medik", located near the study buildings. It consists of four hotel-type buildings with a dining hall (total area - 42000 sq. m.). All of the out-of-town students have been accommodated at the hostels.
Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (PFUR),formerly known as The University of Peoples' Friendship (1960),Founded in 1960 by the decision of the Council of the Ministers of the USSR as the University of Peoples' Friendship, it was given its current name in 1992.PFUR has the following faculties:
Medical faculty: The Faculty has over 2500 students enrolled in degree programmes including about 1100 foreign students. The academic staff includes 270 academicians , 69 of whom are professors holding the D. Sc. degrees and 92 are Associate Professors and Ph. Ds. There are 7 Full Members and Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and 12 Honored Scientists of the Russian Federation.

The university maintains branches in Pereyaslavl - Zalesskyi (the Yaroslav area), Yakutsk (Saha), Yessentuki (Stavropol region), "Bogorodskoe" (area of Tula) and Sochi (Krasnodar region).
